Hi...I just bought a new LG refrigerator on July 7th and the water was tasting like plastic...after several flushings through the system (I would say more than 20 liters of water) and changing the hose that supplied the water from the house, and changing the filter, the water tasted like plastic...Th efunny thing is that the water directly from teh hose that comes from the house tatsted OK...One thing is that the water tasted acceptable after running the water through the system but 1/2 hr later it was tasting like plastic...I went to Lowe's and asked to change the fridge...Lowe's accepted and exchange the refrigerator for a another one - same LG model - With the new one we had the same issue...Called LG and they sent a technician...yesterday the technician came and changed the water tank inside the fridge and the water entrance in te fridge (like a valve or something)...after he finished and we run like 8 liters of water through the system the water tatsed OK, but one hour later it tatsetd like plastic...I cannot complaint about the customer service from Lowe's or LG - they have tried to solve the problem - but the water still taste like PLASTIC...I really don't know what to do next !!!!!
