was clean and very nicely appointed, the one-bedroom poolhouse is clean spacious well-stocked, perfect choice at the pines the pool house is clean near the pier and the hosts are very friendly, we had a great time everything was just as promised alan was a great host, we'll definitely look to alan and 281 shady walk for our next stay in the pines, very comfy beds and ac made the room perfect, contacted us before the trip and sent helpful information, mitch is a great host full of knowledge and enthusiasm about fair harbor and fire island in general, mitch is an excellent host and clearly loves introducing people to the magic of summers on fire island, we just loved our time on fire island and mitch was a wonderful and very welcoming host, also worth noting the excellent location right bay, great place to get away to and just relax, this house is in an incredibly beautiful location and was comfortable for 8 of us for a weekend, would have liked better kitchen amenities but worth it for the location beach supplies and deck, ewa's house was exactly as pictured and very comfortable for 2 families of 3 (3 kids and 3 adults), there were soft clean towels for us to use on the beach and for bathing, the house is very original and feels spacious even it's not so big, everything was clean and inside is so bright and sunny and ewa was great about instructions directions etc, ewa was a great and responsive host who answered all of our questions in a timely manner, ewa was responsive and accommodating in our requests, ewa was a great host providing us with lots of information and
